Downtown: The doughnuts are here.

Flyboy Donuts has started selling a selection of doughnuts and coffee at the newly opened Lewis Drug at 10th Street and Phillips Avenue.

“People have been excited about being able to get our fresh doughnuts and brewed coffee without having to drive to one of the shops,” owner Ben Duenwald said. “We think this is the perfect central location downtown.”

Flyboy and Lewis clicked so well, the coffee business between the two is growing.

Starting next week, Flyboy coffee will be sold at all Sioux Falls Lewis stores.

“Because our coffee is roasted right here in Sioux Falls in small batches, it is always fresh compared to big-box- store coffee that has been sitting on the shelf for months,” Duenwald said. “We roast beans from all over the world and are proud of the six different blends we offer.”

Blends range from mild to medium and darker brews to fit a variety of tastes.

“People also love the convenience of K-cups and knowing that the K-cups are made right in our shop from locally roasted coffee is very exciting.”

It’s been a busy summer for Flyboy, which has had its doughnut truck around town with a recent focus on the west side.

The plan is to continue it one or two days each week until it gets too cold. Follow on Facebook or check flyboydonuts.com for current locations.
