Five Star Call Centers to add 35 jobs with new client

A new client is prompting Five Star Call Centers to add 35 employees in Sioux Falls next month.

The new team will provide customer service to a fast-growing Illinois-based technology firm that specializes in mobile reservation apps, according to the company.

Five Star was selected after competition with several other national customer-service teams. The new Five Star associates will be the first point of contact with customers as they use the reservation app.

“People who enjoy helping others to successfully make reservations will enjoy these positions,” said Joel Sylvester, Five Star’s chief of marketing.  “We try to make call center jobs fun, and this client will be no exception for exactly the atmosphere we want here.”

The new additions will bring Five Star’s team to about 600 people split among four locations.

The call center was rebranded from Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices last year following the acquisition of Midco Connections. Its roots go back to 1978 when it was started by Paul Schiller and Craig Lawrence.
