JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the oversight of the compensation program for Sanford. Will work closely with leadership teams to assure compensation programs are competitive. Assures that programs are modified as necessary due to competitive market criteria or changes in business strategy. Oversee audits of salary changes within each region to assure conformance with established guidelines and procedures. Provides guidance to the enterprise for all tasks relating to annual increases. Responsible management of employees in the enterprise compensation area. Responsible for assuring compliance with legal/regulatory agencies with regards to compensation functions throughout the enterprise. Provides guidance to all levels of management regarding compensation procedures and policies. Will work closely with the leadership teams to provide strategic direction for all areas of compensation, including pay. Must have thorough knowledge of human resource compensation. Must have expert knowledge related to employment practices, equal employment opportunity/affirmative action, wage and hour laws and the health care industry. Must have excellent communication, critical thinking, collaboration and negotiation skills. Must be able to lead others through change processes using creative vision. Must be able to articulate and incorporate the mission, values and philosophy of the organization. Must be able to prioritize and organize workload. Must be able to effectively explain and answer questions related to the operation of the department to include policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources administration or related field. Minimum five years of HR compensation experience.
