Art exhibit features SDSU blue

From staff reports

The Sioux Falls Design Center is looking a little blue — in a good kind of way.

A blue-inspired exhibit from SDSU art and design alumni and faculty is up through Friday, May 26.

An online auction in conjunction with the show can be found at sdsutrueblues.com. Proceeds will benefit the South Dakota State University School of Design scholarship in memory of Norman Gambill, who taught thousands of undergraduates during his 48-year career and worked with graduate students in subjects such as Asian art, film art and design, women artists and international films.

A final reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m May 26.
