Aldi has filed a request with the city of Sioux Falls to build a store on 85th Street west of Minnesota Avenue.

The 20,500-square-foot grocery store would be on the northeast corner of 85th and Audie Avenue.

The area has been filling up with development since Walmart built at 85th and Minnesota.

Aldi has two stores in Sioux Falls — one on South Louise Avenue and the other on East Arrowhead Parkway.
